I know that the Amazon Game Downloads service is US only, but if you buy a game that comes with a Steam key, is the Steam key US only as well? I was planning on doing a giveaway here, but I think only me and Michael are from the US.

I think it depends on the game.
Some keys are region locked while others can be activated from anywhere.
