What is your favorite type of game?

First person/Third person shooters
Real-time/Turn-based strategy
Platformers
Racing
Hardcore Sims

I would have to say I favor First person shooters and third person shooters, some of which are linear and other that are open world.

I know I'm leaving off quite a few types of games so feel free to add them as necessary.

I would say FPS and RPG are my two favorite genres. But I like most genres pretty equally (except racing games).

FPS, MMO and RPG's are mine.

I played WoW Classic up to the announcement of Cata. I knew it was going down the shitter and in a very bad way, so I stopped. Guild Wars 2, is hopefully my new baby.

I played about 500 odd hours and counting of Morrowwind and mods. Skyrims hitting the 90 hour mark at the moment.

Battlefield 3 is my child though, best FPS i've played since 2142.

RPG's. Definitely.

Though I enjoy all other types of games too.

So true, they're awesome. Also like adventure and platformers. Used to be well into RTS but that's dwindled recently, hopefully will get back to them soon though.

After playing Brink I'm finding it hard to enjoy 'regular' shooters.

That game is sadly underrated.

Rpgs are in my opinion the best type of games. I also love rts and indie games.
