Me2 was definatelly the weaker one, but story wise it will have big consequences on the story from what I can tell.
For example legion had a loyalty mission where you could either destroy or rewrite some of his robotic geth friends. Well this could have a big influence (and it will), because in me3 you will basically be trying to fight finally the war against reapers and you will be collecting a lot of allies to join you, so you will have to solve troubles between different races and gain their loyalty so that at the end you can fight the reapers properlly. Or for example have you destroyed the collectors race at the end of me2? Well good for you...

Started Alan Wake, like it so far, although i definitely get scared really easily!

For some reason it runs really badly on my pc, i get about 20 fps on low, but not too fussed.

I know they aren't exactly good, but i was playing arkham city on high and getting better fps, and i've always been able to do at least medium settings on everything.

I guess it's more demanding than I thought. What is your specific processor? Q6600?

OK now I have 2.66 dual core, 6 gb ddr2 ram and 6870 ati gfx card... you cant run that bad dude :/ I run it just fine and your processor and probably gfx card are better...

Your 6870 destroys the GT 320 he's got shiz. That is the weak link in his system.

No it's Q8300. Is that better? (i'm still learning all things hardware). for future reference, how good a graphics could i get with my cpu?

I would say it's probably nearly identical to the Q6600.

As far as a video card, I don't know where you are in the world so prices might vary, but if you're on a budget, I would look at something like the GTX 460

I finally finished my chem coursework (i know none of you were aware i had any such coursework...but i did...and its finished ) so can now get properly stuck into alan wake this weekend.

Finished Alan Wake and both DLCs. Thoroughly enjoyed it, great atmosphere and story, got a bit bored of the combat towards the end but that got freshened up in cool ways in 'The Writer' (which, by the way, is absolutely nuts).

I still have not started Alan Wake, which makes me sad. There are too many damn games! I never thought I would say that.

Oh god I know the feeling. So many games that I own and still have to play. Nowadays, I'm not even home from 7 A.M. to 7 or 8 P.M.

Finished Mass Effect! Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the end section.
