Since I have to buy Alan Wake for all you bastards, I can't get my hands on Syndicate. Does anyone have it and how is it?

Doubted it would, not a lot of advertisement so I guess they didn't see it as a big seller.

Just finished it yesterday, it's a good shooter with great atmosphere but nothing more. No stealth, no non-linear gameplay, no variations in walkthrough.
So yep, it's good but not comparable to Deus Ex: Human Revolution to which everyone wants to compare it.
RPG elements are made just for being there (nothing really interesting), hacking grenades/enemies is just another PRESS X TO WIN in combat.
So expect a lot of shooting and great design but not some kind of genius miracle.
And it's rather short (i finished it in 7 hours).

Thanks ichik. I thought it might have been that type of game. Since EA wasn't willing to send little old me a copy to play through, I will just have to wait for a sale on this one. I'm thinking about $20, which shouldn't be long if the quiet release is any indication.
