Played for 70 minutes today and I like it. The combat seems kind of restrictive from start, but I enjoyed it a lot. I am usually stealth character and there seems to be sort of a stealth magic here which I like because it doesnt waste a lot of mana, doesnt deal whole lot of damage, but is still pretty cool. The game has no jumping unfortunately, which always annoys me because I feel yet even more restricted, but I do like the artstyle and for some reason it really reminds me of Fable.. the first one not any of the others, which I like.

Its a buy if you ask me Smile

ALSO IF YOU HAVE BLACK SCREEN AND YOU USE ATI GFX CARD- TURN OFF POST PROCESSING IN GRAPHICS OPTIONS IN GAME

I played a bit last night. I'm hoping to play a lot more tonight and possibly do a little post on my impressions of the demo.

I was thinking of doing that... when you finish a certain little quest you get 45 extra minutes to explore the world. The timer supposedly stops when in menu or dialgue

Did you also find the default mouse controls to be WAY too sensitive?

They seemed fine to me, but I have a 10 dollar mouse so maybe if you have higher dpi it could affect it. (not sure, because I dont know much about this stuff)

Yes I did.

I didn't play all that much of the demo yet though, I'm having way too much fun playing Super MNC.

I am curious about one thing though. EA said that they wont sell games on Steam anymore.
Why is this one on Steam? Is it because they just publish it or what?

I think it's because it is a new IP. Games that are guaranteed to sell, like Battlefield 3 and Mass Effect 3, are being made exclusive to Origin in order to gain customers on Origin. Something like Kingdoms of Amalur is not a guaranteed sales behemoth, so they do not limit it to Origin.
