What is your preference? AAA or Indie?

I probably shouldn't say such a thing, but I am more of a "big game" type of gamer. I know, I know, Indies are all the rage now, but so few of them appeal to me on a gaming level. Of course, there are some that I enjoy, like Limbo, Dustforce (coming out soon), Super Meat Boy. But the vast majority do not interest me.

What about you? Are you more of an Indie gamer or AAA gamer?

I am completely 50/50. Some indie's I adore and some I don't. There are many many AAA titles that I have zero interest in as well.

In terms of the best from each, I'd probably rather play an incredible AAA game over an incredible indie one. But overall I enjoy both.

aaa, but I do like some indie games from time to time like super meat boy or orcs must die.

I'd have to say mostly indie games. I do love some AAA games, but it's getting to the point where they're all starting to blend together into one genre.

I'm about 50/50 too. I like big games and indie games that are made well I'm a sucker for a beautiful game too (whether that be indie or AAA). I have more indie games on my steam merely because they are cheap but if I had my way I'd own a lot more AAA games too So yea, with all this blabber, I'm about 50/50 on preference.

Usually AAA just because I read reviews, they're vetted and I can more safely allocate the money for them.

I'm pretty cautious with indies too, but I hear gamers I trust (more or less) reviewing them in podcasts and whatnot and try and jump to fund the indies and the return for the investment is pretty good. I played the hell out of World of Goo back on the Wii, for example.

Haven't done as many indies on iOS platforms though. I should, though. Recommendations?
